Competize
The Challenge
Competize is a platform for managing sports tournaments and competitions, used by clubs, leagues and event organizers throughout Europe and Latin America. Although the tool was functional, the interface was outdated and did not reflect the professionalism or scalability of the product. The challenge was to modernize the design without disrupting the service and maintain simplicity for a very diverse audience: from coaches and players to non-technical organizers.
Our Approach
At Citrus we approached the redesign with a progressive, user-centered strategy. We started with a usability audit to detect friction points, and from there, we redesigned the interface with a modular approach, adaptable to desktop and mobile. We built a flexible design system to facilitate future iterations and ensured a clear visual hierarchy, highlighting the most relevant information such as results, rankings or calendars. All the work was developed applying accessibility principles and a modern aesthetic, aligned with the platform's sports and professional audience.

The redesign resulted in a completely renewed interface, with a more professional and modern image, aligned with current UX/UI standards. Clearer navigation and a better defined visual hierarchy were achieved, facilitating use for both organizers and participants. In addition, a solid visual and structural foundation was established that allows scaling new functionalities without compromising consistency or redoing the existing design.
